(abstract. In Marx’s work we can isolate two different paradigms that need to be understood in a deeply different way from the interpretation provided by L. Althusser and his school during the 60’s and 70’s. This article posits a fundamental distinction between Marx’s theory of historical materialism and Marx’s theory of Capital.
